Shipping Policy & FFL Coordination

At Honey Badger Gun, we take the delivery of your high-performance gear as seriously as the engineering behind it. Because we deal with specialized equipment—including the Honey Badger®, Q Silencers, and 8.6 Blackout rifles—our shipping processes are strictly governed by federal and state laws.

Our goal is to get your order from our facility in Dover, NH, to your hands as quickly and safely as possible while maintaining 100% legal compliance.

1. Firearm Shipping (FFL Required)

By Federal Law, firearms (Rifles, Pistols, and Receivers) cannot be shipped directly to an individual’s home. They must be sent to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.

Selecting an FFL: During or after checkout, you must identify a local gun shop or dealer to handle your transfer.
Documentation: It is the customer’s responsibility to have their chosen dealer email a copy of their FFL to orders@honeybadgergun.com. Please ensure they reference your Order Number in the subject line.
Processing Time: Once we receive a valid, signed copy of your dealer’s FFL, most firearm orders ship within 2-5 business days.

2. NFA Item Shipping (Silencers & SBRs)

National Firearms Act (NFA) items, such as the Trash Panda™, Thunder Chicken™, and Honey Badger SD, require an additional layer of federal paperwork.

Class 3 Transfers: We ship NFA items to SOT-holding dealers.
Form 3 Process: Before we can ship to your dealer, we must file a Form 3 transfer with the ATF. This process typically takes 7-14 days but is subject to ATF wait times.
Tracking: Once the Form 3 is approved, we ship the item to your dealer and provide you with a tracking number. Your dealer will then assist you with the Form 4 filing to the ATF.

3. Non-Regulated Items (Accessories & Apparel)

Items such as Cherry Bomb™ Muzzle Brakes, Plan-B™ Adapters, and Q apparel ship directly to your provided shipping address.

Standard Shipping: We utilize UPS, FedEx, and USPS for reliable delivery.
Handling Time: Most accessory orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hours.

4. Shipping Rates & Methods

Calculated Shipping: Rates are determined by the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order at checkout.
Insurance: All firearm and silencer shipments are fully insured to protect your investment during transit.
Signature Required: All firearm and high-value shipments require an adult signature upon delivery to your FFL.

5. Restrictions & Prohibited States

Honey Badger Gun complies with all local and state-level restrictions.

State Laws: We cannot ship certain items (e.g., suppressors, high-capacity magazines, or specific “assault weapons” as defined by state law) to CA, NY, NJ, MA, CT, IL, or HI if they violate local statutes.
International Shipping: Per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), we do not ship firearms, silencers, or regulated components outside of the United States.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order leaves our facility, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking information. For firearms and NFA items, we recommend coordinating with your local dealer to confirm when they have successfully “logged in” your item and are ready for you to begin your background check.
